Technical specs and resistance data will be updated soon.
Although semi-arid regions with 300–500 mm annual rainfall are its natural growing area, it develops well and yields abundant herbage in moist, cool places. As it is not very cold hardy, it cannot be sown as a winter crop in every region. High yields are obtained on deep, calcareous, clayey, fertile soils. It should be sown in autumn in coastal regions and as early as possible in spring in regions with harsh winters.
