R&D and Breeding
Years of breeding work for high-yield varieties adapted to the Turkish climate. Every seed is the result of a field-tested candidate.
At its production and R&D facility in Gölbaşı, Ankara, Maro Tarım has focused for years — with its expert team — on developing high-yield, healthy seeds adapted to the distinct conditions of every region.
Registered wheat varieties
Beyond a structure that merely imports and distributes; bread and durum wheats are developed and registered through our own breeding programs, while forage blends are designed to suit Türkiye's climate and soil.
The result in the field is seen as the natural continuation of a process that begins in the laboratory; the potential of every seed takes shape from its very first step.

Our bread and durum wheat varieties are protected under Ministry of Agriculture registration; standard quality guarantee for the farmer.
Every seed lot passes germination, purity, moisture and health tests. Control at every stage up to packaging brings trust to the farmer's harvest.
Maro Tarım's story began in 1986 with a single belief: the right seed is the first step toward a fruitful future. Over these four decades the company grew from a seed trader into an R&D house that breeds and registers its own varieties.
Across the years at its production and research facility in Gölbaşı, Ankara, bread and durum wheats were developed and forage and turf blends were shaped to Türkiye's climate and soil. Today, in its fourth decade, Maro carries the very first promise with its registered varieties, its clean-energy-powered facility and international breeding partnerships: seed for tomorrow.

Solar energy · Facility rooftop
We source our production facility's energy from solar panels. We chose to produce every watt needed to grow seed without harming the soil it is planted in.
The same approach drives our breeding work: high yield with low inputs, disease-resistant, water-respecting varieties. Because the value of a seed is not only today's harvest, but tomorrow's soil.
