Lolium perenne

Technical specs and resistance data will be updated soon.
Lolium perenne is one of the most widely used species for establishing green areas worldwide. The main reasons are the traits typical of the species: wear tolerance, rapid germination and quick establishment. Its tall growth and broad leaves are distinctive physical characteristics. It germinates within 4 to 10 days and establishes quickly. In hot, dry conditions and wherever maintenance must be intensive, it should always be used together with other species. Breeding work has produced varieties that differ in heat and cold tolerance, wear resistance, colour and disease resistance.
Highly resilient and adaptable, Temprano is one of the perennial ryegrass varieties most preferred in turfgrass blends across Europe. With its medium-dark green colour, fine leaves and durability it suits general-purpose use, and it is also chosen for overseeding on golf courses.
Eterlou is a variety that stands out with its dark green colour. It draws attention with its disease resistance, shoot vigour and tiller density. Highly tolerant of treading, it suits sports grounds, and its visual qualities also make it useful in ornamental blends.
A long-standing, brand-name variety of ours. Among perennial ryegrasses it is darker in colour than most. Its growth capacity is good and its growth rate slow. It is recommended especially for football pitches and golf courses because it withstands wear, treading and demanding conditions.
This variety is very well suited to recreational and general landscaping areas. Its tiller density and winter hardiness support this, and its high disease resistance lets it perform well even under poor conditions.
Our most recently bred variety. It adapts readily to different climates and soils and is distinguished by an excellent capacity to form quality turf. Slow growth extends the interval between mowings. It resists disease and treading, and keeps a very dark green colour throughout the year. Its colour and slow growth make it ideal for golf and sports areas.
